Every year in January, our small, cozy town goes through a complete metamorphosis when celebrities and movie lovers alike flock the streets of Park City Utah from across the globe to enjoy a slew of independent movies at the Sundance Film Festival being held from January 19th to January 29th, and of course see and be seen. It goes without saying that the Sundance Film Festival has become a major contributor of economic activity for the state of Utah. According to the Sundance Institute, the Sundance 2016 Film Festival brought $143.3 Million in Economic Activity and $72.5 in Gross State Product to Utah. If you haven't been to Cloud Dine Restaurant at the top of Dream Peak, by the DreamCatcher and DreamScape Lifts, then you don't know what you're missing. For those of us who look forward to a healthy, delicious, gourmet meal after a few hours on the slopes, the new and improved menu at Cloud Dine focusing on healthy soups, salads, gourmet pizzas and sandwiches with a culinary twist is a dream come true.
Cloud Dine, first introduced in 2011 was completed remodeled this past summer as part of a $50 million investment by Vail that included connecting the Canyons Village to Park City Mountain, transforming our ski resort to the largest in the U.S. with over 7,300 acres of skiable terrain.
